Questions and Answers

1. ¿What is a bilingual ministry?

One of the unique things about our ministry is our passion to be bilingual. The goal of our church is that everyone that participates in our services would be able to do it both in English and Spanish. This includes the music, sermon, and every other aspect of the worship experience. Even though we see the value of churches that are either completely English or completely Spanish, we believe that there is the need in Central Florida for a community that includes all generations and multicultural families in one service.

2. ¿What is the environment like at Casa de Paz?

Casa de Paz seeks to provide a family friendly casual environment where you can feel comfortable. Jeans and shirts are common in our services. We are more concerned with your heart than with your outfit.

3. ¿Does Casa de Paz have children’s programs?

Yes. Casa de Paz offers programs for children 0 to 5th grade during our worship services. One of our great motivations as a church is children. We believe that every person has the right to listen to God’s truths in a way that they can understand. We aim for your child to want to come to church. Besides our weekly program, we also organize special events throughout the year like Trunk or Treat and Three Kings Day (Dia de Reyes) among others.

4. ¿What denomination does Casa de Paz belongs to?

Casa de Paz is a United Methodist Church in the Wesleyan tradition (www.umc.org). The passion for Christ of John Wesley, founder of the Wesleyan tradition, leads him to a close relationship with God. If you have any question about our theology, do not hesitate to email you questions to pastorjose@casadepazonline.com.
