José es un líder y predicador que usa sus experiencias, humor y pasión para presentar el evangelio de Jesús Cristo y principios bíblicos que podemos usar en nuestro diario vivir en una forma accesible para todos. Original de Bayamón, Puerto Rico, José lleva ocho años viviendo en el área de la Florida Central. Sirvió como pastor de jóvenes por los últimos cinco años antes de llegar a Casa de Paz y trabajo en el área de salud mental para adultos y adolecentes en Florida Hospital. Dios pone la visión de Casa de Paz en el corazón de Pastor Jose atraves de su intensa pasión por las nececidades de las familias hispanas en Estados Unidos. "Mi pasión es ver a Dios transformando vidas en una iglesia que busca seguir la agenda de Jesús atravez de su relación con Dios y su servicio a la comunidad."
José es graduado de Evangel University con un bachillerato en psicología y estudios bíblicos. Recientemente terminó su Maestría en Divinidad en Asbury Theological Seminary. José está casado con Elizabeth (Libby) y tiene tres niños, Ely (6), Lucas (3) y el bebe de la casa, Daniel.
Born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Jose and his family have lived in Central Florida for the past ten years. God has placed an intense passion in the heart of Jose for the needs of Hispanic and bilingual families, specifically in Kissimmee, FL. Jose started Casa de Paz with several families that had a shared vision. Jose attended EvangelUniversity receiving bachelors’ degrees in Psychology and Biblical studies, and then earned a Master in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Jose’s chief vocational desire is to “see God changing lives in a church that focuses on personal transformation and community outreach.”
In addition to Jose’s chief responsibilities of preaching and leading the staff and congregation of a new church, Jose enjoys being a keynote speaker at local community events, being an OsceolaCounty school volunteer, and leading All-Pro Dad programs. Jose is a leader who uses his experiences, humor, and passion to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Biblical principles in a way that is relevant to all people.
Jose and Libby were married in June 2000 and are the proud parents of Ely, Lucas, and baby Daniel.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Christian and his family moved to Central Florida in 1990 where they began assisting at Iglesia El Calvario. Starting at the age of 17 Christian began leading Bible studies, working with youth, and leading worship. Christian is known for powerful worship because he “worships with his heart and soul”. Propelled by his calling to reach youth, Christian a.k.a. "Chrizm" has recorded two Christian Latin Reggaeaton CD titled "Siete Veranos" y "Se Metio Dios." He has performed throughout the United States and Latin America. Christian earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Universidad del Turabo in 2009.
Christian’s primary responsibilities at Casa de Paz are the planning and implementing of the Sunday morning worship and leading youth activities.He works hand in hand with Pastor Jose in building Casa de Paz and serving the community.
Christian and his best friend of 16 years, Natalie were married in 2008 and are currently awaiting the arrival of their baby girl.
Born in Queens, NY, and raised in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico; Aida and her family moved to Florida in 1995. God has gifted Aida with being a helpful and friendly person to everyone. Aida is honored and excited to be a part of Casa de Paz because God has changed her life and guided her to be a better person each day. Her primary responsibilities at Casa de Paz include providing clerical support, maintaining records, and designing the newsletter.
Aida enjoys spending time with her family and friends and enjoying the Florida weather. Aida and her husband, Antonio, are proud parents of Carlos and are expecting a precious baby girl this June.
