What motivates us?

There are four core elements that motivate us to start Casa de Paz:

Christ is the source of true peace

Peace is not only the absence of crisis in our life, but a sense of wholeness and purpose that can only come from Christ. He died so that we could find peace in Him and His sacrifice. Any other temporary source of peace will pass away. Therefore our church will do everything that we can to help you and your family find a true sense of peace in Christ.

Youth and Children are important to God

Therefore youth and children are important to us. We believe that as a community we have a responsibility to God for the next generation (English, video games and reggaeton included). It is our aim to assist youth and children to become everything that they can become in Christ. Therefore in everything that we do, we aim to include youth and children not as an afterthought, but as of primary importance.

Jesus is most comfortable in la Plaza

If you wanted to find Jesus in New Testament times, you would find Him where the people were. From the busy shoreline with fishermen, to the  mountainside with the crowds, to the houses of publicans eating a meal, Jesus always found his place among the people. Therefore it is our goal not to be an isolated community, but a rather a community that lives for Christ in the midst of the people and their needs.
